Crusaders Boys 97 Team Makes Run to State Cup Championship Game

The Crusaders Boys 97 team advanced to the CalSouth Governers 2012 State Cup Championship game where they faced the Downtown Soccer Club BU14 team. The boys played very well but fell 0-2 to take the second place cup. The Crusaders boys compiled 6 wins to 2 losses in their run through the Finals, scoring 19 goals with 9 goals against them.

Crusaders Girls 97 Team Bows Out in the Round of 32

The Crusaders Girls 97 team advanced to the CalSouth Governers 2012 State Cup Round of 32 in Lancaster after finishing 2-1 in pool play in Escondido. The girls played some good futbol, suffered several key injuries but played well facing teams from the Presidio League, Southern California Developmental League, and Coast Soccer League.

Crusaders Boys 98 Team Makes Run to State Cup Quarterfinals

The Crusaders Boys 98 team advanced to the Quarterfinals of the 2012 Governors State Cup where they were edged out by Downtown Soccer Club BU13 Black 2 who went on to become the Finalist for the Division.

The boys took on teams from Coast Soccer League and Presidio League finishing 4-2, scoring 16 goals to 8 against. Way to go Boys!

Crusaders Girls 98 Teams face each other in State Cup

Both Crusaders FC G98 teams were placed in the same bracket for State Cup and one team was eliminated by the other in pool play. Savaso's G98 team went on to the Round of 32 to face an opponent that eliminated them and went on to win the State Cup. Clear examples of some unlucky draws in bracketing. Both teams had some great team play in State Cup and continued their success in Spring League. Good job girls!
