The OUSL Crusaders FC is the competitive team component of the Orcutt United Soccer League (OUSL). The OUSL was formed as a recreational league playing circuit in 1995 to serve the youth of the Santa Maria Valley (Orcutt, Santa Maria, Guadalupe) and other surrounding communities. Approximately 1500 local youths particpate each year in the OUSL recreational league fall and spring playing seasons. The OUSL Crusaders Futbol Club (FC) was formed in 2007 to provide a competitive team focus within the OUSL, as many players were seeking competitive level play and previously had to find other clubs to play with. Each Crusaders FC team establishes their own annual budget and manages their tournament season calendar. The OUSL Crusaders FC operates under the philosophies established by the OUSL and CalSouth.
